The simplest answer is to gently rub fingerprints or smudges off with a soft cloth.
Aside from dusting, your piece may not ever need to be cleaned. If cleaning is required, use only a non-ammonia containing glass cleaner.
All stained glass pieces have been cleaned and protected with a wax sealant to slow the oxidization process. Plain solder (silver), and copper or black patina will naturally oxidize over time, with copper usually being the most noticeable turning a bronze shade.
Not with a suction cup! It may seem like an easy option, and may even work short term for light weight sun catchers; however, I will not be responsible if the suction fails and your piece ends up broken on the floor. Please hang from something sturdy, such as a hook and eye screw with a chain attached.
One of the most beautiful things about stained glass is how it transforms in different lighting. Try holding your piece up to a light-filled window during different times of day and watch the color and intensity change.
Or try hanging your piece against a plain wall as a backdrop for a totally different vibe.
